New Jobs in Houston and North Carolina

We have two new jobs showing up.
One is in North Carolina for a Part-time intro to Biotech Sales position.
Job is to learn all aspects of Biotech Sales, directly sell DNA Sequencing, Peptide
Synthesis, and new products to customers in the North Carolina region. Also aid
with market research, flyer design, customer support, etc. if you are interested please
email Richard@etonbio.com with your resume.
The other is at the Houston Branch and is a part-time lab technician position in the late afternoon.
Incudes PCR, PCR Purification, set-up, clean-up and plate purification at night. If you are interested

Both Positions may turn into full time positions depending on your schedule and how well you fit the team.
San Diego Networking in Biotech

San Diego has some of the best networking opportunities in the area to be able to get out there and meet people in bioscience. Most include food, fun, and great information about the community around us. Here are some of the best that have events planned every one to two months:
SDBN or San Diego Biotech Network is a wonderful blog resource about the community as well as event planners that have events each month. Sometimes they specialize in how to use social media to better collaborate, to teaching you about local companies. Check their blog out regularly to find out where and when they are putting things on.
Women of Bioscience is a social gathering every other month. Basically it is just girls getting together at El Torito in La Jolla and chatting about what is going on in the bioscience arena. They also include gift raffles and is completely free. (Everything is put on by local sponsors.)
SDBDG , or San Diego Biotech Discussion Group is another bi-monthly group that spotlights a sponsored company as well as introduces a lot of small local biotechs. It’s held at the last wednesday of every other month at 530 pm. Food is provided and its also free.

After the peptide is completed, it’s quality is assured because we purify it with a HPLC system that has fraction collection capabilities. We will also confirm its identity with a state-of-the-art mass spectrophotometer. Each of these will be confirmed with reports that will be sent back to you with the completed peptide. To finish everything off, our local San Diego and RTP customers will have the products hand delivered to their lab.
